Spring Run of Codling in Pevensey Bay
The fifth Anderida Beach Fishing Club competition of 2015 took place on Wednesday 4th March in Pevensey Bay, East Sussex, UK with 20 anglers fishing.On a moonlit night, with a flat calm sea, anglers were surprised at the number of good-sized codling caught from the shore. The largest cod at 3lb 7oz was caught by Tim Lane. Other species caught included whiting, pout, plaice, dab and rockling.
The winner of the comp was Glyn Morgan of Anglers Den with a bag including a codling, whiting, pout and ling.
