Over 50s Beach Competition - Pevensey Bay - Tues 15th Sept 2015

The first comp of a new series of Over 50s Beach Fishing Competitions  was held in Pevensey Bay, East Sussex on Tues 15th September, with 13 anglers fishing.

Heaviest round fish went to  Ian Hopper with  a cod of 2lb 13oz ,
and the biggest flat fish went to  Gerald Sargeant with a sole of 7oz

Points are awarded as follows, with 15 points for the winner, decreasing down to 1 point

1st  Gary Banfield - 4lb 9oz  (15 points)         
2nd Ian Hopper -  3lb 5½oz  (14 points) 
3rd Gerald Sargeant - 3lb ½oz (13 points) 
4th Tony Bush - 3lb  (12 points)  
5th  Paul Christopher -  2lb 5¼oz (11 points)  
6th  Mike Perfect - 1lb 9½oz  (10 points)  
7th Dave Rudland - 1lb 9oz   (9 points)  
7th  Fred Wassell -  1lb 9oz  (9 points)                          
9th  Les Glassard  - 12oz (7 points)   

Fortnightly Over 50s Beach Competitions run throughout the autumn/winter in Pevensey Bay and are co-ordinated from Anglers Den. These comps usually take place on a weekday, over lunchtime.

The next Over 50s Comp  will be held on Wednesday 30th September  11am - 3pm.
