Anderida Beach Competition - 10th Match - Tues 27th May 2014

Anderida Fishing Club held a beach competition on Tues 27th May in Pevensey Bay, and 22 anglers fished the comp. Although fishing was patchy, catches included some of the summer species expected this time of year - Smoothound, Bass, Dover Sole, Flounder and Eels.

The 5th Pevensey Bay Aqua Club Beach Competition of 2014 was fished on Sun 18th May.

Anderida Fishing Club held a beach competition on Tuesday evening in Pevensey Bay, with 18 anglers fishing the comp. The fishing was good, with a lot of unusual species for the time of year, including Whiting, Flounder and Dogfish.

Shane Pullen from Sea Angler Magazine comes to Eastbourne - Sat 3rd May

Glyn had a telephone call in the shop from Shane Pullen of Sea Angler Magazine ahead of his visit to Eastbourne asking advice about where to go fishing for Plaice. Glyn advised Splash Point by Redoubt Fortress on Eastbourne Seafront (details at http://www.anglersdensussex.co.uk/article.php/54/ ) as there had been some great catch reports from this venue in recent weeks.

The result was a fantastic days fishing for Shane, and his buddies Big Jason White and Paul Gunner.

On his facebook page, Shane wrote Paul Gunner with a cracklng Sole caught at Eastbourne on our Plaice trip last Saturday. This did make a change from a double cast of Plaice on most cast. Well done mate superb angling yet again. Big thank you to the Anglers Den Pevensey Bay.
